Luke Graham and Strathearn Councillor Noah Khogali call for £5m Levelling Up funding to be spread across Perth & Kinross-shire.
Luke, who helped secure £5m of levelling up funding from the UK Government in the recent budget, has joined with Strathearn councillor Noah Khogali to call for Crieff and wider Perth & Kinross-shire to share in the UK Government funding.
Perth & Kinross Council are due to consider proposals for the £5m UK Government fund, but to date, these projects are all focused on Perth.
Crieff and Strathearn have a number of capital project proposals which are currently under consideration including the Drummond Arms redevelopment, Crieff International Highland Centre, cinema and Cultybraggan proposals.
Although Luke and Noah support Perth's regeneration as a priority, they believe funding should be spread throughout Perth and Kinross-shire, as Luke achieved when MP for South Perthshire, securing £1m for Crieff, £1m for rural broadband and £1.6m for Kinross-shire in as part of the Tay Cities deal.
